Buttercup was an exceptional guide. it was like visiting Buda with a friend. Insightful. Humourous. Gracious.
We loved this tour. It was very interesting. So much history. A beautiful location. Our guide was Danny. He was excellent! Very informative, detail oriented with a great sense of humor. Danny was flexible with the tour. We had already visited Mathias Church so he made arrangements for us to visit the Fisherman’s Bastian instead. The bakery we visited was yummy. I had a piece of Salted Carmel Chocolate cake that was so good. It was included along with a drink of choice with the cost of the tour. We also wanted to take the Funicular to the top of Castle Hill. Danny had the tickets ready for us at the start of the tour. The price of the ride on the Funicular was not included with the tour. I made arrangements directly with Danny. I can not say enough about this tour. Highly recommend it.
Enjoy your day at Buda Castle.
Our guide Daniel was one of the best we’ve ever had. Due to my friend’s knee issue he altered the tour slightly, took it at a slower pace and gave her time to rest throughout the tour as he offered insights and commentary on the history of Budapest and this area in particular. Daniel personalized parts of the tour to our interests and also shared personal insights of his own family. This is not to be missed!
