The Cheetah Conservation Fund is a research and lobby institution in Namibia concerned with the study and sustenance of the country's cheetah population, the largest and healthiest in the world. Its Research and Education Centre is located 44 kilometres east of Otjiwarongo.

The AfriCat Foundation is a Namibian organisation promoting the conservation of large carnivores. (Excluded)

Stop At: REST - Rare & Endangered Species Trust

Allowing tourism to brush with conservation & research in order to conserve, understand and educate. Founded in 2000, REST aims to bring attention to some of the most misunderstood and under-represented endangered animals in Namibia: e.g. Cape pangolin etc..

Stop At: Okahandja Mbangura Woodcarvers Craft Market

This craft market is Okahandja’s best known tourist attraction. Woodcarvers from all over, and as far as the Kavango Region of north-eastern Namibia, who practice their ancient skills come here to sell their goods.
