Stop At: Centro Historico Santa Fe de Antioquia, Santa Fe de Antioquia Colombia

You begin your journey to the idyll area of Santa Fe de Antioquia, will start with your first stop the Living Flowers Museum. Here you'll meet a wonderful old farmer who grows more than 3,000 varieties of flowers, succulents and roses, and will guide you through her heaven on earth. As you walk through the rarest of flowers and plants you'll listen to your host explaining the origins and care required for these living treasures. As you'll be sure to see plants and unique plant pots you didn't know existed, be sure to bring your camera to capture her creative thinking and extraordinary collection of flora. This will certainly be an experience you will not forget!

After thrilling your eyes with such appeal we travel through the longest tunnel in Latin America to reach your following location; a cable car ride to visit 3 small towns. During your voyage in the air you'll pass over a marvellous view full of avocado, coffee, maize, onion and fruit plantations; an unbeatable view of the variety of Colombian farms.

Next you carry on to the Western Suspension Bridge; made by the same engineer associated with the Brooklyn Bridge, this is among the oldest bridges in Colombia and proclaimed a National Monument in 1976. Today it is the third biggest suspension bridge in Latin America and the eight biggest globally.

Your last stop on your adventure is a walking tour of Santa Fe de Antioquia; the first capital of Antioquia and the location for both the planning and signing of the independence of Antioquia. It was declared a national monument in 1960, for that reason its 300 year old houses cannot be modified making it the best preserved community to appreciate colonial style architecture in Colombia. During your walking tour you'll visit the most important places such as the Santa Barbara Church, Metropolitan Cathedral, Mariscal Robledo, Museum of Juan de Corral and Chiquinquirá Church.

After your tour is complete we head back to Medellin in our comfy air-conditioned car.
