If you are intending to visit the city of Accra when in Ghana then this trip is definitely for you. Ben was an excellent tour guide. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to some of the most interesting landmarks in the city such as Independence Square where Ben told us all about Ghana's fight for independence before taking us across the road to Black Star Gate where we climbed the internal staircase to get a birds eye view of the city. We also visited the W E B DeBois centre, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Makola Market before stopping for lunch in a place that overlooked the beach and sea. The real highlight for me was the walk along the beach to see the fishermen mending their nets and visiting the school for the fishermen's children situated on the beach. It was such a great experience being able to enter the classrooms and see the children learning Maths, English and Science. Thank you Ben so much for giving us an insight into the history and culture of Ghana. It really was an amazing experience and one we highly recommend.
