Jana Bahal is a temple of Avalokiteshwara on the way to Kathmandu Durbar Sqaure from Asan Tole. It is popular for Jana Baha Dyo (called Seto Machhindranath, Avalokiteshwara, Karunamaya). It is one of the oldest Vajrayana Buddhist Monasteries knows as Kanaka Chaitya Mahavihar. The name Kanak Chaitya Mahavihar is from a chaitya of Kanakmuni Buddha in front of the temple, erected in the courtyard.

Known as Basantapur (City of Spring Season) Durbar Square is an ancient place of the Rulers of Kathmandu. It is one the UNESCO heritage sites of Nepal. Swayambunath Stupa is one of the ancient Buddhist shrines of the people of Nepal and of the Buddhist all over the world. It is a Stupa, naively referred to as a temple, built on the top of a hill. During clear weather one can see mountain range from the Stupa. The Stupa is popular for steps and the hordes of monkeys that are not aggressive when ignored. The stupa is among the UNESCO heritage sites of Nepal.

One of the Ancient Buddhist Viharas of Kathmanu valley.

Temple of Lord Shiva who is also worshiped as the Lord of the Animal. It is an Ancient Temple of Sanatana Dharma practitioners. The evening ritual Aarati is the best thing of the day for the locals.
