This cargo ship was wrecked on the coast of Inis Oirr in March 1960 during a bad storm, and then thrown beyond the high tide level in a subsequent storm, where it has been left to rust away since. All crew were rescued by the islanders. You can visit at your leisure if you hire bicycles or take a local tour on the island.
