Across the road – Putra Mosque and Putra Perdana, Prime Minister Office. The Putra Mosque is arguably Putrajaya's most distinctive landmark and one of the most modern mosques in the world. The pink-domed Putra Mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granite and can accommodate 15,000 worshippers at any one time. Putra Mosque's Islamic-architecture artistically blends traditional designs, local craftsmanship and the use of indigenous materials.

The buildings in the complex are incluenced by Malay, Islamic and European architecture, hence its unique look. Putra Bridge. The main bridge in Putrajaya, with a span of 435 metres, this bridge connects the Government Precinct to the Mixed Development Precinct and links Putra Square with the Boulevard. It has been designed to be a special feature of Putrajaya. This huge three-deck bridge provides vehicle, monorail and pedestrian access and you’ll explore a hidden underground tunnel.

Next stop is Millennium Monument, 68m high column and It is located on the waterfront in the centre of Putrajaya. From a distance it looks like a giant pencil standing on an oil rig but is designed to be in the shape of the hibiscus flower when viewed from above. A multilevel platform wraps itself around the base of the column. As you walk up this ramp you pass a series of engraved glass panels which trace important milestones in Malaysia's history in chronological order. Each panel relates to a year in history and there is information on the key event which occurred that year together with an illustration.

Second principal mosque in Putrajaya, Malaysia after Putra Mosque. One of the most modern mosques in the world and can accommodate 20,000 worshippers at any one time. The mosque employs "architectural wire mesh" imported from Germany and China, which is also constructed at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid and the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris. The interior is decorated with Al-Asmaul-Husna calligraphy of the Thuluth variation. There is a mihrab wall made of 13-meter-high glass panel. The mihrab wall is designed so that no light will be reflected, creating an illusion that the verses are floating on air.

The path towards the mosque crosses a skyway known as the Kiblat Walk which stretches an area of 13,639 m². This skyway contains landscaping adapted from the ancient castles of Alhambra.

Turning right, Seri Saujana Bridge also called Bridge No 8. Main bridge and signature bridge of Putrajaya, it is the first bridge in the world to successfully combine two different engineering techniques. The bridge's design is a unique combination of a symmetric cable-stayed structure and a through-arch bridge; the through-arch bridge portion is reminiscent of a slender version of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. There is no other bridge structure like it in the world.
