Hamarikyu Gardens was opened to the public in 1946. The park is the only traditional garden of Tokyo facing Tokyo Bay, and in it you can find a pond with a tea-house in the center, where you are going to have a green tea refreshment time. Our guide will show you the different kind of flowers and trees, such as peonies, plum trees and cosmos fields. This is one of the best places in Tokyo to feel the contrast between the nature and futuristic architecture!

Stop At: Sumida River, Tokyo Prefecture

From Hamarikyū Gardens to Asakusa you will have a pleasant 1 hour cruise along Sumida River, one of the main rivers of Tokyo. Passing under many different bridges, you will be able to see the city from a different perspective.

Kaminarimon is the entrance to the Senso-ji Temple, and one of the most well know Temple portals in Japan.

Nakamise-dōri is a long pedestrian street with many shops on both the sides. You can find here souvenir shops, street food and many more. We will walk through the street, and if you wish to spend here more time you will be able to get back here at your convenience once the tour is terminated.

Stop At: Senso-ji Temple, 2-3-1 Asakusa, Taito 111-0032 Tokyo Prefecture

Finally we are at the main spot of our tour. The Senso-ji is the most important Buddhist temple in Tokyo, and our guide will guide you through the main building, helping you in getting your fortune ticket and guiding inside the outer gardes.

Stop At: Asakusa Shrine, 2-3-1 Asakusa, Taito 111-0032 Tokyo Prefecture

The Asakusa Shrine is a Shinto sanctuary within the Senso-ji precincts. We are going to visit this shrine to feel the symbiosis of Buddhism and Shintoism in the same place.

Stop At: Kouen Hondori Shopping Street, Asakusa, Taito Tokyo Prefecture

After sightseeing Temples and Shrines, it is time for some entertainment and Shopping at the Hoppy Street, a food district beloved by locals.
