Skye has many wonderful sights and views including the Fairy Glen, Staffa Beach, the Fairy Pools and Neist Point Lighthouse. After an action packed day we arrive back for dinner in the early evening.

We continue to Loch Ness with all its mystery and although sightings of “Nessie” are rare, you just never know… A boat trip on Loch Ness, from the village Fort Augustus on the shore of Loch Ness is always a great option to experience the expanse of Scotlands deepest body of water.

in the afternoon we pass Loch Laggan and into the Cairngorms National Park before gradually starting to head south and Highland Perthshire awaits, Highland Perthshire was a much favoured tourist destination for the Victorian traveller and even Queen Victoria herself fell in love with Scotland in this beautiful part of our country.
