Meet your guide at a central meeting point, then proceed to the graveyard where you will hear about Charleston's spirits and gruesome tales such as:
• The ghost of Sue Howard, a grieving mother who prays at the grave of her dead child from the spirit world. Your guide has the picture to prove it.
• The Great Nullifier, famous rebel warrior John C. Calhoun. Find out why he and his wife still dance in the street every year, for over 150 years running.
• Tales of being buried alive. Doctors in old Charleston didn't take chances with contagious diseases. Fall unconscious in a hospital, wake up in a grave.Learn why the terms saved by the bell and graveyard shift were coined. You will be glad you weren't around when they were.

While other walking tours are looking in through the iron fence, you'll be on the inside. Learn the history of Charleston's haunted graveyards and hear tales about famous individuals who found their final resting place in the Holy City.

Don't forget your flash cameras. You never know what phantom images you can capture...

It was a good tour and Gordon put on a show. It was really hot. The historical stories were very interesting and so were the pictures.

I highly recommend this tour! Our excellent tour guide Gordon, made this such an amazing experience! If you’re up for a spooktacular evening of ghost stories, tied in with Charleston history and haunting graveyards and cemeteries this is the tour for you! We so enjoyed this 90 minute tour!

Tour was okay but very dependent on tour guide. We had a very new guide who seemed a bit uncomfortable. Cemetery portions were great and I think the basic info was the same (you could hear other tours going on). End was very strange as the guide left us in Waterfront Park, a long way from departure point.

Very much enjoyed this tour. This was my 2nd time for this tour and had as much fun as the first time. They change the points of interest so you get a new experience. This is a fun tour of Charleston learning a bit of history and hearing interesting stories about the long ago citizens that come back and visit every now and then. Mya was our guide and although she was new she is a recent College grad with a degree in history and her knowledge was amazing and she made the tour so much fun!
