This was a great tour of Mt Batur lava fields and the hot springs. The drivers Putu and Gede were both extremely knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Putu modified the itinerary according to my needs. I had already visited coffee plantations so we skipped that part. Gede was the jeep driver for the lava fields part of the tour - the route was very bumpy but Gede is a very skilled driver. He kept checking in to see if I was doing okay. Putu then drove me to the restaurant in Kintamani with a spectacular view of Mt Batur, the food was great too! I would highly recommend this tour, and many many thanks to Putu and Gede making this a memorable one!
This was a fun day! My driver/guide, Edy, was great. He was on time (early actually, patiently waiting for me). Edy was also friendly, professional and answered a lot of questions I had about Bali and Balinese culture. We did the 4x4 ride first, and that was so much fun!! The views are amazing, I was given a bit of history about the volcano and Edy took lots of pictures when I asked him. The little 4x4 was a 36yrs old Red Suzuki and it was precious. I was also allowed to drive it myself over the sand dunes, yay! Then it was time for the hotsprings. Again, breathtaking views! Edy told me to take my time, but I was getting hungry I've only spent 1hour and a half swimming in the hot springs. Lunch was at Amora Bali, and again... views views views!! The food was delicious. Random fact, but I had the best spring rolls ever!! And the tuna satay with peanut sauce... yaaaas! It was an awesome day through and through.
We visited Mt.Batur with the tour managed by Putu Sudiana. An awesome trip of off-roading, hot springs and kintamani lunch. If you like adventure, you’ll love the off-roading. I was told that I’m the first customer to take this tour and it was a great experience.
