Lake Moreno is a glacial-origin lake with more temperate waters than other lakes in the area and also a natural border of the Llao Llao Municipal Park. The reserve is composed of a vast Patagonian Andean Forest, known in Spanish as “bosque de montaña”, and was created for the preservation of species and genetic diversity.

Once at the coast of Lake Moreno, you will have an introduction to the basic technique of touring kayaking and safety equipment. Afterwards, the moment you were waiting for: Time to grab your oars and plunge in! From here, you’ll start a 1-hour 30-minutes medium-difficulty kayak through the crystalline lake waters, with the mountains and lush forest as a backdrop. You’ll paddle surrounded by magnificent views of Lopez Mountain, whose steep silhouette dominates the landscape, Capilla Mountain, and nearby the Llao-Llao Hotel.
