Sailors will see the beautiful city of Hobart, its historic docks and surrounding mountains and forests from the large sheltered harbour. Sometimes there will be other yachts racing on the harbour and sometimes we will be visited by curious dolphins and seals. Very occasionally we will see whales and orca.
Sailors will experience what it is really like sailing aboard a large ocean going yacht and they can take turns on the winches or even try their hand at the wheel if they like.

Baz and his friendly crew made our day! Their knowledge and passion for all things Hobart quickly became evident and was contagious. A really exhilarating and exciting afternoon out on the water, in a beautiful craft with a top team. Highly recommended!

This trip was fantastic, perfect sailing, perfect company and great stories. We sailed around the bay reaching 10 knots and learn all about the history of Tasmania including loads of fun facts about the shore. Recommend it to all.

We were sailing on the Derwent for 3 hours. The crew -- Barry and Jimmy -- were outstanding.
They gave us a detailed description of the yacht, what we were about to experience, explained sailing terminology and we both had time behind the wheel steering. Towards the end the bikies and cheese-- gourmet Tassie style -- with a couple of glasses of Chardonnay just topped of a memorable afternoon. Experience not to be missed, particularly with this crew. Many thanks B and J. DARYL HOCKING

Don't be misled, Derwent River is actually the Hobart harbor (just tradition). Barry and crew were outstanding! We spent a wonderful morning sailing the harbor, seeing and hearing about the great place know as Hobart. We were literally wined and dined (some of the best cheese in the world is from Tasmania) along great stories, wonderful humor and exciting day of sailing. To top it off we learned that this boat (63') participated in the famous Sydney to Hobart race along with her skipper. If you want a really memorable experience in Hobart we would recommend it.

We had a day to remember and excellent company. Both Mark (Owner) and Jimmy were amazing, Their friendliness and wonderful tales of high adventure added to the day. Perfect weather, although it would have been nicer to have more of a wind. Would highly recommend this adventure for anyone wanting to add to their bucket list.
