Depart from Bariloche, Argentina, to Puerto Varas in Chile on three cruises, crossing lakes surrounded by the Andes mountains. This 11-hour trip will sail from Puerto Pañuelo across the Nahuel Huapi Lake, toward the heart of the Southern Andes. Sail the green waters of Frias Lake to Puerto Frias, admire the stunning Tronador Hill and the condors flying around. Cross the Chilean border and through the Valdivian Rain Forest, toward Peulla, Chile. Cruise across Todos los Santos Lake to Petrohue, and board a coach to the Petrohue Waterfalls, then on to your final destination of Puerto Varas.

Stop At: San Carlos de Bariloche
After meeting with your guide at an office in Downtown Bariloche, head toward Puerto Pañuelo on the opposite shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake aboard a comfortable bus equipped with air-conditioning and heating. Driving along the Nahuel Huapi, observe the Swiss-styled architecture which characterizes the local houses, along with their with colorful gardens.

Stop At: Puerto Panuelo
Arriving in Puerto Pañuelo, board a fancy catamaran (the Victoria Andina or Victoria del Lago) and sail the Nahuel Huapi for an hour toward Puerto Blest.

Stop At: Nahuel Huapi Lake
Along the way you may appreciate the wideness of the landscapes, and the green, wild forests the surround you, while your guide tells you more about the history of the region.

Arriving at Puerto Blest, a bus will take you on a 3-mile ride along the Frias River to Puerto Alegre.

On arrival at Puerto Alegre, board the 'City of Faith' and sail the deep green waters of Frias Lake. Admire the stunning, one-of-a-kind view of Tronador Hill. After 20-minutes the cruise will reach the tiny Puerto Frias.

After departing Puerto Frias on a bus, head to Peulla, crossing the Argentinian border. Along the way observe the dense vegetation of the Andes while still within view of Tronador Hill and its nine glaciers.

Entering the Pérez Rosales National Park, pass the Chilean border and be transferred to Peulla for a 1-hour lunch break (at own expense).

After lunch, climb aboard another cruise, from Peulla to Petrohue, on the Todos Los Santos Lake. Get the widest views of the Osorno and Tronador Volcanoes, as well as Puntiagudo Hill, and be amazed by their snowy tops.

At Petrohue, head to Puerto Varas, stopping on the way for a visit to the Petrohué Waterfalls (admission not included). Note the particular shapes of volcano rock, bathed in green waterfalls. Bordering the Llanquihue Lake, you get a breathtaking view of Osorno Volcano, and the Calbuco scenery.
